Now Enrolling: GNJ’s Extended Day Care Program

Genevieve N. Johnson Senior Day Care Center is now enrolling participants for its Extended Day Care Program, designed to provide enhanced care, companionship, wellness support, and engaging activities for seniors.

This program offers a safe, supportive, and enriching environment where DC seniors age 60 and older can stay active, connected, and engaged beyond the traditional day program.

Services include recreation and socialization, educational workshops, nutritious meals, Music Memory Café activities, community outings, caregiver support, memory screenings, and transportation support for eligible participants.

Welcome to the GNJ Caregiver's Lounge!

Join us for our supportive caregiver sessions held every third Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the GNJ Senior Center, 4817 Blagden Avenue NW, Washington, DC. These gatherings are designed to provide peer support, stress relief, emotional nurturing, and essential self-care strategies for caregivers in our community.

In addition, connect with others during our Caregivers Support Group every third Saturday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM via conference call at 1-425-436-6335, access code 799162.
